In the beginning there was darkness...then there was "BLOG"????

The Professor told me to pick my game and do this “Blog” thing or I will never graduate college. So I guess that I have to drum up some followers by creating a product that is worth reading and at least a little entertaining while sticking to the guidelines of the grading rubric. I am Dave Henry a 43 year old career military man, single father of two crazy wonderful kids, member of a true “MC”, companion with my best friend and love of my life and son of two great parents that are still together after 48 years. I believe defining one’s roles is the first step in being able to bring a bit of discipline to the chaos that is one’s life. After role defining, most of my issues fall into four categories. The next several blogs will give you a peek under my tent and hopefully keep you coming back for more, if nothing else I hope I make you smile.

    David,

    The blog thing was a bit of a challenge but I do believe that I am getting the hang of it. Every journey begins with that first step...

    As I grew up in West Virginia, we had the "mental" hospital highland that we were all told that if we did not straighten up and fly right we would land right in the middle of it!

    That was a great concern...but alas not as bad as going to the regular hospital..thank goodness for the simple mind of childhood.

    Roles these days are so blended, not the well defined versions that we remember so well from our childhood. Kids are quite plastic when it comes to multiple roles that are held by one person. It can also give them an understanding of change....not always bad...just a different way of seeing situations....

    In order to get credit though :), please be sure you click on the Learning Activities icon in Units 1,2 and 3, and follow the instructions of what you need to do each week on the blog.

    Don't forget, that you need to comment on at least 2 of your fellow classmates blogs each week.
